Victoria's Secret Model Exercises The Squad Follow To Maintain Their Bodies
With the VS show fast approaching, it's about time we figured out how this lot stay in shape...
It’s no secret that the Victoria’s Secret Angels embark on an exercise regime to end all others in the run up to the annual show, but how exactly do they maintain it? It’s not like they immediately balloon back to anything but what they already looked like, so we did some research into how they manage to keep it up…
And unsurprisingly it involves a whole load of planks, boxing and other exercises that have us sweating at just the thought of them. Nonetheless, here’s a handy list in case you fancy trying any of them out.

No, we don’t mean you need to pop in a mouth guard and have a mysterious score to settle in the form of a boxing match. Instead the VS Angels use exercises involving certain boxing moves to keep their upper body and core on top form. Plus it looks pretty badass, so that’s a bonus.

Skipping is the secret workout tool that so many people don’t know about, so allow us to enlighten you. According to the British Skipping Rope Association (yes, this is a thing that exists) a 10-minute session of skipping is as good for you as a 45-minute run. SOMEONE GET US A ROPE, STAT.

Perhaps for those who are more dance inclined, ballet is of course a great way to keep your figure looking like an Angel. Lily Aldridge takes classes all year round and then amps it up right before the show, while Karlie Kloss likes to take part in Barre classes, which incorporate ballet style exercises without needing to be a fully fledged ballerina.

Squats, squats and more squats is a mantra that pretty much all of the angels incorporate into their lives during the ever stressful run up. Josephine Skriver uses the buddy system for her gym workouts with Jasmine Tookes, which according to them makes squatting much easier.

Lily Aldridge claims that toning her body with pilates “really changes the way my body feels," and that once the class is over "it's like I've had a massage." Um well that sounds great. And don’t let the fact that pilates looks a little terrifying put you off, as it couldn’t be more the opposite once you start practicing.

Taylor Hill is just one of many VS babes who can be spotted at NYC’s infamous gym Dog Pound, and nine times out of ten she’s holding a pair of weights to make whatever exercise she’s doing that bit harder. We’re sweating at just the thought of it.
