Celebrity Workouts IRL: Body By Simone - Sweat
Dance your way to a super hot bod.
It’s been three months since we made our New Year’s resolutions and promised ourselves we’d have a body like a Kardashian by the summer and, well, let’s just say it’s not quite gone to plan.
So when we heard that Simone De La Rue from Khloe Kardashian’s Revenge Body was coming to London to launch the partnership between her famous Sweat class and Third Space, we knew we had to get involved.
What exactly does it entail?
Simone describes the 55-minute-long class as a “high intensity dance workout, with easy to follow choreography that will leave you dripping in sweat, but smiling ear-to-ear.”
Like any dance or HIIT class, everyone finds a space on the floor and faces the mirror. We chose a spot at the back so that we could attempt to hide but still had a good view of Simone.
After an energetic warm up that could’ve made for a pretty intense workout itself, Simone started taking us through the high energy dance routines and adding a new one on each time we’d got the hang of the last.
Why the celebs love it…
Former Broadway and West End dancer Simone was tasked with helping one of her clients get the body of a dancer and after people saw the incredible results, she knew she was onto a winner.
She’s now famous for working with names including the Kardashians, Taylor Swift and Anne Hathaway.
We were so busy trying to keep up with Simone’s insane dance moves that we didn’t even realise how hard we were working, but we were definitely in need of a shower afterwards.
Okay so it was slightly stressful trying to keep up with the fancy footwork, but who doesn’t love pretending to be a great dancer?!
Could we move the next day?
We just about managed to drag ourselves out of bed at midday, but that might’ve had something to do with the two (alright five) cocktails we had the night before…
