After months of speculation, the Video Girl singer has finally confirmed that she is R-Pattz girlfriend, telling The Metro at last night's Mercury Prize ceremony that things between them were "really good, thank you."

The Gloucestershire girl also spokevery fondly of XL label mate Adele, stating: "I haven’t met Adele but I once saw her at the XL Christmas party. I didn’t say hi, but next time we might have a talk."

However, she concluded: "I’m quite a shy person. I live in a constant state of shyness."
