Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones join Dave Grohls gang at Wembley
Foo Fighters were joined by legends from Led Zeppelin when they played their massive Wembley Stadium show on Saturday. Guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones were brought on stage by Foos singer Dave Grohl. He said: "Tonight playing here at Wembley Stadium is an honour and if we didn't take advantage of this opportunity we'd be crazy. Understanding what a big deal it is playing the massive venue Grohl added: "We knew from the beginning this wasn't going to be another outdoor show, we have been planning this for six months so we would like to welcome Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones." The rock titans combined for renditions of Rock And Roll and Ramble On. MTV interviewed former Nirvana man Dave at Led Zeppelins one-off O2 show back in December. He exclusively told us: I wouldnt be here today if it werent for Led Zep.
