Foo Fighters are back with explosive new single Something From Nothing.

The track was recorded in Chicago as part of their Sonic Highways documentary and will feature on their new album, which carries the same name.

Albini has previously worked with Grohl's previous band Nirvana as well as the Pixies and Manic Street Preaches, making him an iconic figure in the world of alternative rock.

Sonic Highways sees the Foos recording eight different songs in eight different cities to form the tracklist, with their HBO doc showing the group explore and work with a number of artists across a variety of musical genres - including blues guitarist Gary Clark Jr and rocker Joan Jett.

Something For Nothing is the first cut to be taken from Sonic Highways - their eighth studio LP - which is due for release on November 10.
