Rapper fails to show up to court again...

Foxy Brown is in hot water again...

A New York judge has issued a warrant for rapper Foxy Brown's arrest after the Brooklyn rapper failed to show up to Brooklyn Criminal Court today (5th May 2008).

Foxy, real name Inga Marchand was scheduled to appear at court to answer accusations that she hit 25-year-old Arlene Raymond with her Blackberry mobile phone in Brooklyn on 30 July 2007 after an argument became heated.

At the time Raymond was treated in hospital for loose teeth and swelling around her lip and right eye.

The rapper pleaded not guilty, and was bailed after being charged with felony assault, menacing, harassment and criminal possession of a weapon.

Foxy Brown's attorney said he had not heard from her recently and did not know where she was.

The troubled female MC was only recently released from prison last month (April) after serving eight months of a 12-month sentence for violation of her probation.
