Franz Surprise Fans in Dundee

Franz Ferdinand played a surprise set at this weekends 1 Big Weekend event in Dundee.

The band, who are set to headline T In The Park on July 8, treated the crowd to a four song set comprised of Do You Want To, Michael, Take Me Out and The Fallen.

They slipped into the line-up between Editors and Pink.

"We've not been in Dundee since the end of 2003, said singer Alex Kapranos. So it's great opportunity to come back to a really good city.

"It's a dry run for T In The Park!", referring to the band's set at the Scottish festival on July 8.
