MTV Style | Fred Perry’s Amy Winehouse Project With Central St Martins
The iconic brand announces collaboration with CSM for new Amy Winehouse garms…
Foundation students at Central St Martins are being offered the opportunity to design their own version of the classic Fred Perry polo. As well as this, the 150 students will compete to design a version of the Amy Winehouse Foundation Collection Bowling Shirt.
The late singer was a prolific wearer of the brand, and Fred Perry has subsequently been involved in her charity by donating seasonal contribution to the organisation, that seeks to aid young people with drug and alcohol problems.
The competition comes as part of a subculture themed design project, and will see the work of 3 out of 150 students placed within a capsule collection of pieces that will be designed in house. The wining designs will be manufactured and distributed worldwide.
