Police Issue Arrest Warrant For Elsa From Frozen
Bad weather prompts APB for cartoon character...
The movie Frozen has a lot to answer for, from the mountains of merchandise clogging up kids' bedrooms around the world to its earworm hit song Let It Go.
But now police in Kentucky are trying to pin a new charge on the mega-hit movie, issuing an all-points bulletin for the arrest of character Elsa.
Jokers at Harlan City Police Department have put out the not-entirely serious appeal on their Facebook page, blaming her for the current snowmageddon in the region.
The message read: "All points bulletin!!! HPD has issued an arrest warrant for Queen Elsa of Arendelle.
"Suspect is a blonde female last seen wearing a long blue dress and is known to burst into song Let It Go!
"As you can see by the weather she is very dangerous. Do not attempt to apprehend her alone."
And after the story went viral they followed it up with another message.
"Wow. We were just having a little fun and didn't expect this!
"It has been fun and we had to have a little fun after this week's weather. But as a reminder, do take the precautions you need to keep you, your friends, family, neighbours and pets safe during the snow queen's mad spell."
