The Wanted to bag their first No 1 in the The Wanted's new release Carly Rae Jepsen's Rita Ora's Alex Clare's Too Close fell one place to complete the top five.
In the Official UK Albums Chart, Emeli Sandé's Our Version Of Events made it back to the top spot in its fifteenth week in the chart.
Joe Bonamassa's Driving Towards The Daylight debuted at No 2 while Adele's record-breaking LP 21 climbed one place to third place.
