Gal Gadot 'Drops Out Of Ben-Hur Remake'

Scheduling conflict blamed for Wonder Woman actress' exit from project...

Gal Gadot has reportedly been forced to pull out of a remake of historical epic Ben-Hur.

The 29-year-old Israeli was understood to have been in talks to play the female lead in a new version of the 1959 movie classic.

But the shooting schedule for her role as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice has reportedly come into conflict with that for Timur Bekmambetov's swords-and-sandals film.

The Wrap reports that Jack Huston, Toby Kebbell and Morgan Freeman are attached to star in the Ben-Hur remake.

But Gadot is unlikely to be short of work over the next few years, with a Wonder Woman solo movie and a Justice League ensemble film both scheduled by Warner Brothers for release in 2017.
