Game Of Thrones Season 8: FIRST TRAILER And Air Date Confirmed

Here’s when you’ll be watching the final season of Game Of Thrones.

HBO have FINALLY confirmed when the most hotly anticipated season of any TV series EVER will be hitting our screens.

Game Of Thrones Season 8 will air in April 2019.

It was revealed in the first teaser trailer for the upcoming final season, with the hashtage #ForTheThrone.

Watch it and prepare for battle now…

The new trailer teases us with a look back at some of the show’s most epic moments, all leading to Season 8’s upcoming White Walker showdown.

We don’t know the SPECIFIC date in April that we’ll be watching the first episode of the season, but we do know that if you’re watching the show in the UK, it’ll be simulcast at the exact same time as the US on both Sky Atlantic and NOW TV, so you don’t have to panic about pesky spoilers.

The new season will be shorter than any other before it, with only six episodes. HBOprogramming president Casey Bloyshas said in an interview with Entertainment Weeklythat these will be “six one-hour movies" on TV. He revealed, "The show has proven that TV is every bit as impressive and in many cases more so, than film. What they're doing is monumental."
