Game Of Thrones Star For Mary Shelley Movie
Sophie Turner will portray Frankenstein author on the big screen...
She's best-known to millions of fans as Game Of Thrones' Sansa Stark, but Sophie Turner is set to play one of the world's most-famous novelists in a new feature film.
The 18-year-old from Warwickshire is reported by Deadline to be taking the title role in Mary Shelley's Monster - a new biopic of the woman who wrote Frankenstein.
Jeremy Irvine will play romantic poet Percy Bysshe Shelley - the man she married - and Taissa Farmiga will play her step-sister Claire Clairmont.
Producer Rose Ganguzza said: "Our film is not a period drama. It is a story of youth that transcends time, a gothic romance, a love triangle that involves a dark passenger and we are tremendously excited to have such an exciting cast onboard this wonderful project."
Coky Giedroyc will be directing the film, with shooting expected to begin later this year.
