Today it’s the turn of Liam Cunningham and Carice van Houten aka Davos Seaworth and Melisandre to talk Game Of Thrones with MTV! Don’t worry, this one’s not too spoiler-y…

Speaking of the red priestess, Liam tells us “her whole MO is ‘nuts’ which is why we’re [bumps fists together] like that the whole time…

“She’s, maybe not the devil, but she has her ways of doing things that I disagree with.”

He continued: “She’s kind of ‘by any means available’ whereas I [Davos] want to see Stannis on the throne through honour and his deeds and his wisdom and we don’t see eye to eye on that and that’s what kinds of brings us at loggerheads with each other. Its kind of fun to play!”

On playing her intriguing character Carice recalled that scene in the cave:

“Giving birth to a shadow baby that wasn’t there was quite tricky because your legs are widespread and you have this prosthetic belly which has air in it that goes up and down. You’re half naked, its cold, it’s winter in Ireland and you’re in a cave, you know with Liam Cunningham – can your life get more weird?!”
