You Can Now Play As Superman In Grand Theft Auto 5 (Kind Of)

In case you’re a bit bored of your standard missions and otherwise destroying everything in sight day in and day out, there’s a new mod on Grand Theft Auto 5 which lets players roam the streets of Los Santos as actual Superman.

Well, ‘actual’ Superman is a bit of a stretch, but it’s kind of like if he merged with Will Smith’s Hancock - because most of the footage is mainly quite funny and weird.

We don’t have a clue how computer geniuses manage to do this, but they’ve turned original character Trevor into a slightly less impressive Man of Steel, and the suit is pretty spot on.

No cape though, in case that’s a deal breaker for you.

GTA 5's Superman is bulletproof (though it doesn’t seem he realises it by the amount he rolls around bleeding on the floor) and he CAN fly - but it involves having a parachute on his back.

His super-human strength comes into play as well, as he can easily punt cars pretty far.

But if you mainly want to play as Superman just so you can kill people more effectively, you may be out of luck (you utter socios).

The Man of Steel still punches people the same as your standard, violence-loving thug, so brace yourself if you were ready to watch innocent peoples’ heads rolling off.
