Gareth Gates has spoken about his speech therapy and how its allowing him to do things differently this time around.

In an exclusive interview with MTV News, the Bradford hunk, who is back with a new single Changes, spoke about the McGuire Programme and how its making things easier for him in the spotlight. I have never been able to give interviews in the past, said GG, So Im looking forward to this venture of giving interviews, looking forward to those side of things.

Im part of a speech therapy programme called the McGuire Programme, it teaches you a new way of speaking as well as a new way of breathing and to tackle the psychological elements that come with having a stammer.

He added: One of the hardest things in the past was nobody being able to associate Gareth Gates with Gareth Gates the personality. There has always been that void there because I havent been able to speak. Therefore Im looking forward to people getting to know the fun guy that I am!
