Gary Barlow Returns To Twitter With Tax Scheme Apology

Star says sorry to fans and announces a new Take That album...

Gary Barlow has apologised over his involvement with a controversial tax avoidance scheme.

The Take That star and former X Factor judge was among a number of celebs accused of sheltering a total of £1.2bn from the taxman in a dubious scheme run by a firm called Liberty.

And the 43-year-old has now returned to social networking site Twitter to break his silence.

"I want to apologise to anyone who was offended by the tax stories earlier this year," he wrote.

"With a new team of accountants we are working to settle things with all parties involved ASAP."

And Gazzy-B also revealed that he and his Take That bandmates have a new album in the pipeline.
