Gary Barlow Stranded On Island By Cyclone

Take That star stuck on Pacific isle as cyclone hits during Jubilee trip...

There are worse places to be stranded than on a tropical island, except perhaps if it is hit by a cyclone.
As pop starGary Barlowhas discovered for himself, getting stuck in the Solomon Islands as heavy rain and winds have hit in advance of a Pacific cyclone.
The 41-year-old Take That star tweeted: "We're stranded on an island in the Solomons. There's a cyclone heading our way and there's no way off. Gonna have to sit it out!!"
And he later added: "Powers back on. The lovely government here are sending a search and rescue boat for us this morning #adventure."
Gaz had been in the Solomons' capital of Honiara as part of a tour of the Commonwealth which he is undertaking for a TV documentary about the Jubilee.
