Gary Barlow 'To Write West End Musical'

Gary Barlow will be trying his hand at writing a West End musical, it has been reported. 

 

The production is said to be based on his band's journey to stardom - a journey which also kick-started Gary's successful career in television.

 

A source told The Mirror: "Gary's the happiest he's ever been in his career right now and loves being given the freedom to write music and take on different projects. He's really pleased that the musical has come to light and has loads of ideas to make it a West End hit."

 

Elliott Kennedy, who has written hits for S Club 7, Spice Girls and Five, is said to be working with Gary on the musical. 

 

Fans will be happy to hear that Gary is reported to be returning to The X Factor later this year.
