Crisis ‘Consequences’ Release Date

Colossal collabo for charity features top acts...

Crisis' charity single Consequences is set to be available for download on the 21st April and in stores on the 28th.

MTV have documented the charity project from the beginning, it features contributions from a host of artists including Paul Weller, Supergrass, Beth Ditto, Graham Coxon and The Enemy.

The theme of the track was inspired by the parlour game consequences, in which players write a story without seeing each others input, each part of the song; drums, bass, guitar, vocals were recorded by artists unaware of what had been laid down before.

The track was built layer by layer, as well as the talent mentioned above the track also features the New Young Pony Club, Drew McConnell (of Babyshambles), Pearl Lowe, and Andy Rourke (The Smiths) amongst others.

All profits from the record will go to Crisis, the national charity for single homeless people, including music and arts projects which enable our members to acquire new skills and find employment.

Three of Crisis own homeless members also feature on the track, playing guitars and piano.
