Daniel De Gale RIP
MTV BASE would like to pay tribute to the inspirational young man, Daniel De Gale, who sadly passed away on the 8th October 2008.
MTV BASE has supported the Afro Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT) from the very beginning.
Daniel De Gale was very much the main focus of our television features, which covered the annual ACLT celebrity charity fundraiser ball.
Daniel always spoke from the heart, articulately and with such passion for a man that seemed older than his 21 years.
All that heard him speak were encouraged and motivated by his words.
He was always positive, charismatic and professional, and fundamentally inspired us to make the most of ourselves.
MTV BASE are deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden passing. We interviewed him a mere 3 weeks before, at the 9th annual ACLT BALL - you can view the feature below.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones during this tremendously difficult time.
