As part of MTV News's Knife Crime UK special, airing today from 4pm on MTV, weve asked you, the esteemed MTV viewers, to complete a survey on the subject. Here are the results.

In the survey, which has been running on mtv.co.uk, we asked you if you felt you were in danger from knife crime.

62% of you said you felt in danger from knife crime.

Here are the other major results:

62% people said they felt they could be in danger from knife crime

72% said they have seen someone carrying a knife

1 in 4 thought it was sometimes ok to carry a knife for protection

1 in 5 had carried a knife

56% thought that some music glamorises knife crime
