*** Rachel Stevens says she might go for an even more raunchy look for her next video. Her new single - 'More, More, More' - was first performed in 1976 by adult film star Andrea True. "I'm thinking of going porno girl myself. My stylist was suggesting kind of retro, kind of 70s, not naked but porno-esque. I think that would be quite kitsch and cool."
*** Madonna has reportedly demanded that a special "peace room" be built backstage at her UK gigs. She is said to want a soundproof zone where she can go into a trance an hour before going on stage. Organisers at the MEN Arena, where the singer plays two gigs this weekend, have been ordered to prepare a special room with walls draped in green sheeting and soft cushions on the floor to squat on.
*** The Scissor Sisters say their collaboration with Kylie Minogue has produced some great music. No official date has been set for a release, but Jake Shears has said the collaboration went well. "I think we made some really good stuff", he said. "We just got down to business. We were down there for long days so I feel like we got to know each other quite a bit which was pretty fun."
*** The Others have dedicated their next single to Libertines exile Pete Doherty. Singer Dominic Masters has revealed that he penned the song 'Stan Bowles' for his close friend Doherty, who he describes as a "gentlemen and pure scholar of a man ". Dominic dedicated the song to his friend for having embraced The Others at an early stage in their career.
*** Prodigy have announced a UK tour. The dates are: Birmingham Academy (December 2), London Brixton Academy (3, 4), Manchester Apollo (6), Glasgow Academy (8), Belfast Ulster Hall (10), Dublin Olympia Theatre (11). Keith Flint - who had no input in the upcoming album 'Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned' - is meant to be rejoining the band for the live experience.
*** The Walkmen have pulled out of the Reading and Leeds festivals due to touring commitments in the US. In a statement the band said: "We wholeheartedly apologise to our fans and hope to come back to the UK in the near future."
