*** The uproar over what Justin Timberlake memorably described as a "wardrobe malfunction" shows no sign of letting up. Now Justin says even his family was offended by his Super Bowl performance with Janet Jackson. "I think that's probably the part that's frustrating the most for me", he said, "and it's completely, completely, completely, regrettable".
*** Dido has reportedly forced the closure of a website run by racists who used two of her songs to promote white supremacy. The Sun reports that the singer's lawyers shut the site within an hour of finding it. An insider at BMG said: "Dido was horrified when she found out about the site. Anyone who knows her would see their views are completely the opposite of hers".
*** Britney Spears is reportedly still dating her ex-husband Jason Alexander. Jason's best pal Jared Prescott claimed the pair were still in "close contact" and were planning to eventually re-marry. Some tabloids are reporting that a month after their Las Vegas chapel wedding was annulled, Britney is still wearing the silver wedding ring Jason gave her.
*** In an interview with Elle magazine, Christina Aguilera has admitted to trying drugs, but that she didn't like them. "I'm not naive enough to sit here and say I've never tried anything else, you know - drugs", she said. "I found out they weren't really for me. I really found out".
*** This month's BRIT Awards will be hosted by Cat Deeley. She will be joined by celebrity guest presenters including Justin Timberlake, who will present the 'Outstanding Contribution to Music' award to Duran Duran. Missy Elliott, Alicia Keys and Gwen Stefani will team up to perform an as-yet-unnamed track, while others performing together will include Beyonce and OutKast.
*** Dance festival Tribal Gathering returns to Manchester on May 1 with the Stanton Warriors, Todd Terry and hip-hop legend Jazzy Jeff on the bill. Dubbed 'Operation May Day' the Bank Holiday event will take place at a secret warehouse location in Manchester.
