*** Britney would like to work with Robbie Williams, the pop sensation revealed on today's TRL, because "he's hot and really sexy." Spears went on to tell MTV's Dave Berry what she thinks of Robbie's attempts to crack the US. "You know what, I think he's just beginning," she said. "I think we should do something together and he'll blow up."
*** Liam Gallagher and a fellow Oasis bandmate have tested positive to drugs in relation to their brawl with locals in Munich back in 2002, investigators have said. "The test revealed substantial quantities of alcohol and drugs," said prosecutor Anton Winkler. "It is possible he used cocaine." Winkler added that it is unlikely that the case will go trial. Liam will be ordered to pay a fine, he expects.
*** This year's Glastonbury will boast a performance by the English National Opera (ENO) group. 91 musicians and 11 soloists will perform part of Wagner's famous 'Ring Cycle'. "We decided to put them on the main stage at 11am on Sunday morning," said Michael Eavis. "It's quiet at that time and hopefully a bit of Wagner will get people out of bed. It's bigger than anything we've done before, but it's not our usual style."
*** Mike Skinner, aka The Streets, says he'd like to add a date in Ibiza to his forthcoming European tour. "I wanna do a gig there this year, said Skinner. "I don't wanna do a big one, just so that we can fund our holiday!" The tour kicks off next month. The new Streets album 'A Grand Don't Come For Free', meanwhile, is released on Monday (March 10).
*** Rumours are circulating that Bob Dylan, yes Bob Dylan, is keen to be on the judges panel for the next series of 'American Idol'. Dylan, who has long spoken out against corporate culture, is said to have contacted the show's bosses saying he wants in. If that's not enough, Sir Paul McCartney, yes Paul McCartney, is also said to be considering an offer to be on the panel.
