*** Bryan McFadden has lost the platinum and diamond wedding ring given to him by his wife, 'I'm A Celebrity' contestant Kerry McFadden, while surfing in Australia. McFadden, who is down under to surprise Kerry when she comes out of the jungle show, has offered a 5000 reward on a local radio station for the pricey ring's safe return.
*** Queen's 'We Will Rock You' has been voted No 1 rock anthem in a survey by UCI Cinemas. Tracks by Nirvana, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith and The Clash proved popular, while The Darkness only managed to scrape into the top 20 at No. 19 with 'I Believe In A Thing Called Love'. The survey was conducted to promote the release of Jack Black's new film 'School Of Rock'.
*** Scissor Sisters, Faithless and The Music will headline Homelands 2004 at Matterley Bowl, Winchester on May 29. Groove Armada will perform a DJ set, as will Erick Morillo and Roger Sanchez. Grandmaster Flash and Jazzy Jeff are also due to appear at the annual dance festival.
*** Britney has talked more about her 55-hour marriage to childhood mate Jason Alexander. "Honestly, I really wanted to see what it was like to be married," she said. "Maybe that sounds silly, but in that moment I was with a friend that I love dearly and I wanted to do something wild and crazy and I wanted to get married. So that's why I did it."
*** The Pixies have announced two London gigs as part of their forthcoming comeback tour. They will play Brixton Academy on June 2 and 3, marking their first London shows since 1991. Tickets go on sale at 9am tomorrow (February 7). The band announced earlier this week that they will also play T In The Park.
*** Scissor Sisters have announced that they will play at The Forum in London in addition to the previously announced Astoria date. The New Yorkers arranged a date at the Astoria following their smaller show at The Scala last night but that having sold out quickly, they have added The Forum on April 2.
*** Channel 4 is producing a documentary on Charlotte Church, to air the day before she turns 18 and gains access to her millions. 'Fallen Angel: The Real Charlotte Church' is said to include an interview with the singer's ex-boyfriend, bad boy Steven Johnson, as well as details on a family rift.
