*** Basement Jaxx, The Charlatans, Starsailor, Scissor Sisters and Kosheen have been added to this year's V Festival line-up. The new recruits join such previously announced acts as The Strokes, Muse, N.E.R.D and Dido. V takes place on August 21 and 22 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire.
*** Victoria Beckham has commented on the tabloid reports that her husband David Beckham had an affair with his former personal assistant Rebecca Loos. "We have been through a lot worse than this," said VB, "and we're definitely going to get through this." Posh and Becks were photographed looking in good spirits yesterday at the start of their ski holiday in the French Alps.
*** England and Everton football star Wayne Rooney is set to make a cameo in one of Busted's videos, say tabloid reports. A 'close pal' of the young striker told today's Sun: "Wayne is a big fan and doesnt care who knows it. He last met the lads a few weeks ago they have now come to a gentlemans agreement that he will definitely get a part in a video."
*** Robbie Williams has topped a poll of richest pop stars under the age of 35. The Take That star turned solo giant is worth a whopping 60 million, according to the tabloid poll, with assets such as a 7million castle in Sussex and 3million mansion in LA. Second on the list is Dido with a 20 million fortune, followed by Victoria Beckham (15million); Melanie C (12million) and Emma Bunton (10million).
*** Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown are reportedly filming a reality TV series. Brown is thought to be planning on selling the show, which is being filmed by his Atlanta-based company B2 Entertainment, to a US network. The show will apparently feature Brown, who was recently released from jail and Houston, recently released from a rehab clinic, going about their daily lives.
