*** Michael Jackson is reportedly considering suing Eminem. MJ is not happy with Eminem's 'Just Lose It' video, which features the rapper dressed as Jackson, losing his nose and jumping on a bed with children. "The Jackson family feels the video is demeaning and disrespectful," said a spokesperson. "Michael is very displeased and doesn't want it shown."
*** Britney Spears' and Kevin Federline's marriage is now official. The two have now filed the necessary paperwork to make their marriage legal after getting married at a friend's house in California, last month. Spears' publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnick said: "All the proper paperwork was dealt with, filed, done. It's all legal."
*** Kanye West and Lil Jon have won three awards each at the Source Hip-Hop Music Awards in Miami. West, who had seven nominations, won awards for 'Breakthrough Artist Of The Year', 'Album Of The Year' and 'Video Of The Year'. Other winners included Ludacris, Ying Yang Twins, Chingy, The Terror Squad, Usher and Alicia Keys.
*** Madonna has agreed to be a talent-show judge, according to tabloid reports. Madge is believed to have been lined-up as the Simon Cowell of a new US star-search, fronted by Missy Elliott. A source close to Madonna is quoted as saying: "She (Madonna) will have no patience with the have-a-go heroes trying to make a name for themselves!"
*** REM have announced an extra date for their 2005 UK summer tour. They will play an outdoor show at Ipswich Town Football Club on July 8. The tour calls at: London (February 19), Sheffield (21), Glasgow (22), Birmingham (23), Lancashire (June 17), Loch Lomond (18), Hull (July 5), Nottingham (6), Ipswich (8), London (9) and Cardiff (10).
*** Goldie Lookin' Chain have announced a second homecoming Christmas gig. The Welsh rappers, who are currently in the middle of their 'An Ounce Don't Come For Free' tour, will appear at the Newport City Live Arena on December 16. They already have one homecoming Christmas show on December 15, and two further tour dates in the New Year.
*** Joss Stone's mother is no longer her manager, according to reports. After "much discussion and argument", the two have apparently agreed to find Joss a new manager. "One guy told us that I needed to be sexed up", says Joss of the interviewing process. "He said that girls should want to be me, while guys should want to f*** me! Can you believe that?"
