Noel Gallagher teams up with Ian Brown
*** It has been reported that Oasis songwriter Noel Gallagher has teamed up with Ian Brown for a track on the ex-Stone Roses frontman's new album. "We got talking about music and agreed we should do something", Brown said. "Noel sent me some music he'd done and I recorded a vocal. The result is brilliant I hope it will be a single."
*** After 1991's 'Truth Or Dare', Madonna plans to release another behind-the-scenes tour documentary. Madge has already started shooting for the untitled project, which will chronicle her upcoming Re-Invention tour and the spiritual side of the superstar. She plans to release the documentary in cinemas, her spokesperson said.
*** Robbie Williams is attending the Cannes Film Festival to promote new movie 'De-Lovely' in which he has a cameo role performing a Cole Porter song. But the wannabe actor is expected to use his time in the south of France to meet with Hollywood studio bosses in an attempt to launch a new career as a movie star.
*** Brett Anderson and Bernard Butler are to work together again on a new album. The ex-Suede stars, that went their separate ways in 1994 when Butler quit the band, have written 15 songs together. "I can confirm that me and Bernard are working together again," said Brett on his website. "Even though it's early days I can honestly say that I believe the work to be up there with some of the best things we've ever done."
*** Avril Lavigne claims that she can't find a boyfriend because her over-jealous security guards push men away if they try to approach the singer. "I don't get out in public much but when I do, guys come over sometimes. Most of the time, though, I have bodyguards who push them away from me."
