*** Morrissey has added more dates to his UK tour. The shows are at Newcastle City Hall on September 7, Liverpool Royal Court on September 9 and Preston Guild Hall on September 10. Morrissey is also due to perform at the Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals on August 28 and 29 and Edinburgh's Corn Exchange on August 31.
*** Madonna has ploughed a load of money into her dad's struggling wine business, according to reports. The superstar is said to have put half a million pounds into Ciccone Vineyard to prevent the company going bust. And her decision was apparently influenced by how much her husband Guy Ritchie adores the vineyard's 2002 Dolcetto and Pinot Noir wine. Madonna's UK tour kicks off in Manchester tomorrow (August 14).
*** Prodigy's Liam Howlett has labelled 'Baby's Got A Temper' " a single they released in 2002 - as 'sh*t''. "It was a f*cking load of sh*t," he said. "I didnt think it was sh*t at the time and I wanted to put something out to show people we were still around. Keiths lyrics are very introverted and thats not were about. The Prodigy are about fist-in-the-air shit, real simple. But it was important because it showed me exactly where I shouldnt go."
*** The Polyphonic Spree have announced details of a UK tour for later this year. The robed vocal group will play Liverpool University (October 30), Sheffield Leadmill (31), Glasgow QMU (November 1), Birmingham Carling Academy (2), Manchester Academy (4), Bristol Carling Academy (5) and London Astoria (6).
*** Fred Durst and Paris Hilton were spotted having an intimate date in Los Angeles, according to reports. The New York Post claims that the Limp Bizkit singer and It-girl were 'all over eachother' during dinner at LA's trendy Koi restaurant, before later turning up together to the launch of Pharell Williams' new line of Reebok trainers.
