Kylie Minogue has confirmed that 'Chocolate will be the third single to be released from her Body Language' album. The track is to get a summer release and Kylie is currently adding new vocals to the track. As well as the original, the single will be released with new remixes; producers to be announced shortly. 'Chocolate' will be the follow-up to top 10 single Red Blooded Woman. The debut single from the album, Slow, went straight in at No 1 in November 2003.
George Michael has recorded a song dedicated to his legions of gay fans. George came out six years ago after being caught with his trousers down in a public lavatory. George said: "It's about time I made a record for the boys really, isn't it? This is definitely a big boystown record. I think there will be people dancing around their handbags to this one." The track, Flawless, features on current album Patience. In the interview he also revealed that he plans to duet with some of the big female singers in the world, although he declined to give any names.
The Creamfields festival was launched in Liverpool at Baby Cream last night where this year's headliners were announced. The Chemical Brothers (live) and Goldfrapp will headline the Creamfields Outdoor Stage, with superstar DJs Paul Oakenfold, Erick Morillo, Seb Fontaine, Paul Van Dyk, Darren Emerson, scouse hero Yousef, Pete Tong, Plump DJs, Layo and Bushwacka!, Audio Bullys, Dave Clarke, Tim Deluxe and Mutiny, plus many more manning the decks in the other six arenas.
The new Method Man album reads like a whos who of hip-hop. Missy Elliott, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes and P Diddy are all due to appear on Tical 0: The Prequel, to be released on May 17. The album will also feature tracks with fellow Wu-Tang rap superstars Raekwon, RZA and Ghostface Killah. The first single from the album is expected to be the Busta Rhymes collaboration What's Happenin'. Method Man is a very busy fellow, hes currently promoting his new movie Soul Plane which co-stars Snoop Dogg, plus a sitcom with Redman.
The Charlatans have announced more details for their upcoming tour, including a warm-up and appearance at the Fleadh festival in London on June 20. The band will play a warm-up show at Keele University on Saturday, May 22 as well as the two other warm-up gigs already confirmed at London's Islington Carling Academy on May 3-4. The tour kicks off at the Aberdeen Music Hall on May 23 and includes concerts in London's Hammersmith Carling Apollo, Brighton, Bristol, Newport, Glasgow, Manchester and Liverpool. Their new album, Up At The Lake is due to be released on May 17.
Marilyn Manson is all set to marry his girlfriend, model Dita Von Tesse, according to reports. The shock rocker apparently decided it was time to make an honest woman out of Von Tesse and popped the question last month. The couple are due to wed by the end of the year.
