*** Christina Aguilera was not impressed with Britney Spears' wedding ceremony, it would appear. Aguilera burst out laughing when told of the details of Britney's wedding over the weekend, where burgers were served and drinks weren't free, and described the affair as "low-rent and pathetic!"
*** Britney and husband Kevin Federline have spent 48 hours locked away in bed since their wedding. A bodyguard of the pop sensation says he was given strict instructions not to let them be interrupted "unless the world caved in!" Meanwhile, some reports claim the wedding may not be totally official, so to protect Britney's millions.
*** Beastie Boys have announced two UK dates for December. The legendary Brooklyn outfit will play Manchester MEN Arena on December 6 and London's Wembley Arena on December 7. Tickets go on sale on September 24 at 9am.
*** Chris Martin has said that the stress of recording another album is making him go bald. "We're under an immense amount of pressure in the studio," he said, "But we're one receded inch of hair from finishing. When my hair's gone back another inch I know we'll have finished the album."
*** Radiohead's Thom Yorke has urged fans to join him in a protest against a new weapons testing programme called Star Wars. In a posing on Radiohead's website, Yorke talked of a protest taking place this weekend at Fylingdales base, that he's a guest speaker at. The programme is based on the idea of testing weapons in space.
