*** Gwen Stefanis debut solo album is to feature contributions from New Order, Outkast, Eve, Dr. Dre, and the Neptunes. "I knew exactly what my influences were - Prince, New Order, The Cure and early Madonna," said Gwen of the album. "Everybody was under strict instructions!" 'Love, Angel, Music, Baby' is due out on November 23.
*** The Zutons have cancelled the remaining dates of their current UK tour, due to drummer Sean Payne contracting a severe viral infection. " We're really gutted and distraught about it," said singer Dave McCabe, "We promise we'll try and reschedule them for as soon as is humanly possible." The cancelled dates include tomorrow's Shepherd's Bush gig.
*** Eminem has revealed hes planning to vote for the first time in his life. According to reports, the rapper is not pleased with the current US President and so will try and make a change. "Bush is definitely not my homie," he says. "But I'm still undecided. Kerry has made a few statements I've liked, but I don't know."
*** Christina Aguilera is to appear in an episode of 'The Simpsons', say reports. The singer will apparently feature as a pop star wannabe when Lisa enters a Pop Idol-type show. Aguilera and Simpsons fans can expect to see Christinas guest appearance on the show later on in the sixteenth season.
*** Muse have added a second date at London Earl's Court in December. Earlier, the trio had announced their biggest live show to date at the London venue, on December 19, but due to the incredibly high demand for pre-sales, the trio have now added another date for the following day - December 20.
*** Delta Goodrem is said to be devastated after losing boyfriend Mark Philippoussis to Paris Hilton. The singer apparently had no idea that her ex is seeing Paris, until reading about it in the Australian Daily Telegraph. A source close to the Goodrem family said: "Delta is really upset. It's the worst way to find out, to read about it."
