*** 50 Cent will perform at the Days Of Thunder event at Rockingham on June 6. The one-off show will be his first UK performance of 2004, followed by UK tour dates in August at the Glasgow SECC and Wembley Arena, proudly presented by MTV.
*** Radiohead cancelled the final date on their Australian tour after singer Thom Yorke was told that performing with a respiratory infection could cause "irreparable damage to his voice". A statement said that Yorke had been diagnosed with "marked hoarseness of voice, a significant upper airway infection and associated heavy inflammation of his vocal chords."
*** Daniel Bedingfield has announced a UK tour, but not until March 2005. The singer returns to the UK next week after recovering in New Zealand from injuries sustained in a car crash earlier this year. Daniel will kick off his 2005 tour in Nottingham on March 8, with the final show scheduled for Plymouth on March 24.
*** Morrissey has confirmed the line-up for the Meltdown Festival at London's South Bank Centre from June 11-27. He will perform alongside The Libertines, Sparks, Nancy Sinatra, The Ordinary Boys and the reformed New York Dolls. The former Smiths frontman will also curate the event.
*** Britney Spears has sold more merchandise on the US leg of her world tour than any other solo female artist in the last five years. She has raked in over $30 million since the start of her Onyx Hotel Tour; the European leg of which kicked off in London last night, April 26.
*** Roni Size and Groove Armada have been added to the line-up for V Festival on August 21-22 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire. Headliners at the festival include The Strokes, Pink and The Pixies.
