*** Destiny's Child are the new faces of McDonald's. Taking over from Justin Timberlake, the threesome will front the 'I'm Lovin' It' campaign, which is expected to broadern the chain's appeal. "We're lovin' the chance to work with McDonald's," Beyonce said, "together we'll create lots of fun and cool surprises."
*** Norman Cook is the latest artist to join War Child Music. Fatboy is joining October's line-up with an acoustic version of 'Push And Shove', taken from his new 'Palookaville' album. Other artists donating exclusive tracks to www.warchildmusic.com include The Strokes, Pet Shop Boys and Kaiser Chiefs.
*** Christina Aguilera has revealed she had a breakdown after being compared to Britney Spears. Aguilera has told the papers she wasn't happy when her debut single, 'Genie In A Bottle', was released because she hated the comparisons to her childhood rival. "I had some sort of breakdown after being confined in this shell," She said.
*** Courtney Love has made a court appearance to set the date for her preliminary hearing on a felony assault charge. Following the appearance, Love said: "Did you see the court today? I was the only white girl there. This is so badly bent. We can't find them a f***ing job so we create a criminal class."
*** Robbie Williams has taken a verbal swipe at Sir Elton John. While recording his new single 'Radio' for 'Later with Jools Holland', Williams covered his band's instruments in 'I'm not miming' stickers. He was mocking Sir Elton's public attack on Madonna, accusing her of lip-synching earlier this week.
*** Busted are Tory supporters, it has been revealed. In an interview with Tatler, Charlie Simpson releaved their Conservative preferance. "I dont really like politics but I've always grown up with their view," he explained. "The Tories' way of doing things, I just prefer it."
