Rock Chicks Get Angry

A long list of music stars have signed a petition against KFC for animal charity Peta2.

Bat For Lashes, The Long Blondes, New Young Pony Club singer Tahitha and members of Hadouken and Blood Red Shoes have all signed a letter calling on the company to end its suppliers' worst abuses of chickens.

They join Pink, Ladytron, Goldfrapp and Peaches in supporting the youth arm of PETA- people for the ethical treatment of animals.

The ladies letter reveals: We are standing up for chicks and urging KFC to adopt basic animal welfare standards that will improve the living and dying conditions of the birds who are unfortunate enough to end up in your buckets.
