The Streets Double Top

The Streets aka Mike Skinner has debuted at No 1 the UK singles chart with 'Dry Your Eyes', his first chart-topper.
And just days after the 25-year-old rapper was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize, his album 'A Grand Dont Come For Free' rose a place to No 1 on the album chart, knocking Scissor Sisters off the top spot. Elsewhere on the album chart, The Hives new release 'Tyrannosaurus Hives' debuted at No 7.
Back on the singles chart, last week's No 1, 'Lola's Theme' by Shapeshifter, slipped down one place, as did Rachel Stevens' 'Some Girls', which fell to three. J-Kwon stayed steady at No 4 with 'Tipsy' and Usher rounded out the top five with 'Burn'.
The next highest debut was Lou Reed's 'Satellite Of Love 04' at No 10, remixed by DJs Groovefinder and Dab Hands.
