Geordie Shore Is Almost Here!
We catch up with the stars of the show ahead of its premiere tomorrow...
The television event of the year is almost upon us, but before we get lost in the madness that is Geordie Shore, we caught up with some of the cast to find out why they think they are "mint" enough to star in the show.
Charlotte Letitia Crosby, a barmaid from Sunderland, claims that she managed to bag a part on Geordie Shore because of the interesting voicemail message she had on her mobile phone.
Charlotte explained to MTV News: "You know what, they rang us and when they rang me, I had this crazy voicemail."
"I didn’t answer so it went to the voicemail and I was [singing] ‘Hey how you doing? Sorry you couldn’t get through. Leave your name and number and I’ll get back to you.’"
She explained: "I think that’s why they chose us. I think that’s why they did it, cause of me voicemail. Must of thought ‘she is crazy! Let’s get her on!'"
Her co-star Gary 'Gaz' Beadle added: "She is crazy! I can’t even take her seriously. No, with me I think, there’s loads of better looking lads, but banter-wise, I wake up with a smiley face, I go to bed with a smiley face."
"Nothing gets us down, I’ll dance, I’ll party, I don’t stand posing in clubs, I will literally dance me night, like dance all night."
As for living in the house together, Gaz revealed: "It is nice. It’s intense though, like I think four lads, four lasses with no TV, you’ve got no phones, you’ve got nothing, you’ve got like bouncing off each other cracks so if there’s an argument you can’t escape."
He added: "Like it’s just total, it is, it’s amazing, I loved every second of it."
We can't wait to see the cast in action when Geordie Shore hits your screens tomorrow, 24th May @ 10pm only on MTV!
