Geordie Shore exes Aaron Chalmers and Marnie Simpson are fighting to put the past behind them after an epic Twitter fall out.

The pair exchanged a flurry of tense words after Marnie, 24, said during an interview that Aaron, 25, has ‘trust issues’.

Taking to Twitter, Aaron implied Marnie had been unfaithful to him when she first got with former TOWIE star Lewis Bloor when they starred in Celebrity Big Brother, saying: ‘Im not surprised when we were together until the day she went in CBB then she got with Lewis’.

But Marnie dragged up some old tweets of Aaron’s to show he contradicted himself previously saying that he had never dated her – but then also saying that he had.

The pair battled to set the record straight with both parties seeming to agree that they had officially broken up by the time Marnie entered the Celeb Big Brother house back in July.

Aaron tried to draw a line under the argument saying: ‘Marnies happy and I'm happy!! We don't speak but we are moving on with our lives so let's leave it at that.’

Of course, being an argument between two of our Geordie faves, it didn’t end there with Marnie arguing again that they called time on their relationship just before she entered CBB, and Aaron finally snapping back that he was ‘over it’.

At least it’s good to see that drama between these two is as real in life as it is on the show.
