Geordie Shore’s Chloe Ferry Admits She ‘Definitely Overreacted By Smashing A Table’ During Kick Off With Abbie Holborn And Sam Gowland – EXCLUSIVE
Don't miss brand new Geordie Shore, Tuesdays at 10pm on MTV!
Whoever said that the course of true love never did run smooth had obviously foreseen tonight’s dramatic Tenerife-based episode of Geordie Shore, which saw Chloe Ferry and Sam Gowland’s love story hit a kink in the road when Abbie Holborn revealed what Sam had REALLY said to her on a night out.
His words pretty much being that if his romance with Chloe didn’t work out, he’d go back to Abbie. Awks.
Things ended in one pure akka argument after Abbie revealed Sam’s not-so-mint choice of words to the rest of the radgies, with kick-off Chloe returning to shout, flip and smash a glass table, and go radge in other areas of the family’s Tenerife villa.
WATCH CHLOE ADMIT SHE OVERREACTED IN A ROW WITH ABBIE IN THIS EXCLUSIVE CLIP:
Speaking in an exclusive Confession Cam for MTV, Abbie revealed that the crackers situation had started after she decided to ask Chloe what had REALLY happened in the pool with Sam: “Basically, she just flipped and said, ‘well, it doesn’t matter because we’ve been getting with each other everyday anyway’.”
Addressing Chloe’s reaction, Abbie added: “I’m not bothered about you getting with him every day. It’s more the fact of you sat me down, asked for a blessing, said you didn’t want to upset me ‘cause I was your friend and tell me the truth, but then you were necking on with him last night and you didn’t tell us (sic).”
Sharing her take on events, Chloe explained: “I just think with Abbie like, me and Sam have been necking on naturally, they’ve only necked on in a dare and stuff, and when a boy comes in the house, when someone necks on with them first, the other person should immediately back off and she’s like, still trying to go there.
“It’s a little bit weird, it’s different. Me and Marnie (Simpson) would never do that, anyone in the house wouldn’t do that, I just don’t understand why she’s still trying.”
Howay, lasses.
Abbie later revealed that everything was “all a bit of a mess,” and that she wanted to take a step back from the love triangle because she wouldn’t “try with someone if (her) friend does really like them,” before adding: “I just think the way that (Chloe) spoke to us and shouted at us just wasn’t fair at all.”
Speaking about Chloe’s latest party trick – flipping and smashing the table, obviously – her BFF Nathan Henry said that he’d always told Sam he was “playing with fire” by flirting with both Chloe and Abbie: “I think to be honest, Sam got off very lightly, ‘cause I thought he was gonna get a f**king slap.”
The lass herself then admitted: “I definitely overreacted by smashing the table. I just had a lot of anger building up inside of us, and I just flipped. I was so angry ‘cause I literally had put me guard down with Sam ‘cause I thought he was a decent lad, and obviously not (sic).”
Revealing Chloe’s akka reaction had got his head in a spin, Sam told MTV: “At this point, I do fancy Chloe more and I think that’s a little bit obvious.
“But after last night, I just don’t f**king know no more ‘cause I think that was a bit ridiculous the reaction. It does show that she cares and that is nice and I do feel good about that but she flipped a f**king glass table over an argument with Abbie about me. It’s a bit over the top (sic).”
He later added that he hoped the two lasses will eventually “clear the air,” and that he still believes he’s “doing nothing wrong” because he’s a “single lad.”
Abbie, though, reckons Sam’s got some apologising to do: “With me and Sam, I just feel like I’ve lost a bit of respect for him. I just feel like the way that he’s gone on when he’s just come in just isn’t right, and I feel like he does need to apologise.”
Chloe added that, while she “definitely needs to speak to Abbie” and “have a big chat” about the situation, she’s not quite so keen for a chat with Sam just yet: “Obviously I need to speak to Sam but I feel today’s not a good day ‘cause I feel like I will probably kill him (sic).”
Nothing like a bit of holiday drama, eh?
