Geordie Shore’s Gaz: “There Will Always Be A Gary & Charlotte”
The pair call a truce during season 6 finale…
After an emotional series wherGeordie Shore couple finally made amends in a tearful Down Under season finale last night (August 27).
Charlotte - who spent much of her time in Australia slagging off Gaz and missing her boyfriend back home - was at first delighted when Gaz was due to miss their final night out in Sydney after being kicked out of the house following a brawl with James.
The Geordie lass said: “This is the best news I’ve had the whole entire trip. Finally Gary’s got what’s coming to him, finally he’s getting punished for his stupid skinny actions. Finally I can enjoy this without him being here.”
She later said she was “not phased” that Gaz didn’t leave her a note to say goodbye, but then admitted: “I just didn’t think the end of this with Gary would be so crap or uneventful or just nothing.”
When Sophie then told Charlotte that Gaz had left a letter in her make up bag, the Geordie lass revealed she was “surprised” and “intrigued”.
However, not able to bring herself to read it, Charlotte tore up the note saying: “I don’t want to have took all these steps forward to go all the way back again.
“Nothing Gary could say now could change anything, but I don’t want it messing with me head.”
However, when Gaz made a surprise return to the house to say goodbye to Charlotte in person, her feelings seemed to change.
Gaz told Charlotte: “It is hard for me to say it to your face but… my best times in here have been with you they always will be.”
He added that Charlotte’s boyfriend is lucky because “if he gets any of the memories that we had together he’s the luckiest man in the world", before adding: "I hope he makes you happy 'cause I say you deserve it.”
Gaz then revealed: “No matter what happens with me and Charlotte, we could both be married to other people, there will still be some kind of bond there and there will always be a Gary and Charlotte.”
Despite his outpouring, Charlotte at first seemed resistant to Gary’s words saying she had a “lucky escape” from Gaz who, at her lowest, made Charlotte feel like she “wasn’t worth the sh*t on his shoe.”
But Charlotte then gave in to the emotion of the moment telling him: “You know I’ll always be your friend”.
Charlotte said the farewell was particularly emotional coming at the end of the Geordies’ time in Australia because: “I’m not just leaving Gary here, I’m leaving Charlotte and Gary here. It’s the end.”
