Geordie Shore was back on MTV last night, and while Gaz and Charlotte became embroiled in a battle of er, sex - James continued to ignore old flame Holly causing tension among the group.
Worldie Kate is adamant that her man must not speak to the red-haired lass, leaving James to confess: "Having a girlfriend whilst being in the Geordie Shore house is harder than I ever would have imagined."
After telling Kate over the phone that he "needs to keep his distance" from Holly, James confided in Ricci and Dan, telling them he wanted to be just friends with her, but it didn't work out.

After being encouraged by Ricci to sort things out with Holly, James admits: "Ricci's right, I do need to speak to Holly but it's still too soon."
After initially struggling to come to terms with James' silent treatment, Holly is later seen telling the girls: "I went through a stage of being upset about James but now I just couldn't give a f**k.

"Yeah I miss me friend, but I'm not gonna f**king let him know that anymore."
At Vicky and Ricci's engagement dinner, Vicky says she could cut the tension between the pair with a knife, stating: "He's petrified of talking to any other girls in case it upsets her [Kate] so I think he's pretty much got a lot of solo time ahead of him."

But Holly later claims that James "bores" her now, adding that Kate is free to have her "sloppy seconds" and concluding: "It's like the calm before the storm 'cause it's gonna kick off. I'm just waiting for it."
Elsewhere, Dan was punished for a 'necking on' with a blonde while he was supposed to be entertaining a hen party and missed out on the group's go karting trip… having to clean the party bus instead.

The Cock Capturers and the Buck Squad took their pulling competition to new heights with Charlotte actually bagging herself a date and Sophie and Joel enjoyed a "weird" kind of sex.
