Geordie James On 'Overwhelming' Fame: "It's Crazy"

Despite their global success, our favourite Geordie Shore lads and lasses still find it strange being famous for their outrageous ways.

The hit reality show returns tomorrow (July 22) and some of the cast can't quite believe their tashing on and mortal moments have been such a hit with fans.

James Tindale told Sugarscape: “Everywhere we go we get recognised. It can be overwhelming.”

“I was in Dubai last week and a French guy came over and started taking selfies. It’s ridiculous. We’re just normal people and everyone loves us. It’s crazy”.

“I’ve had people in their 70s come up to me. The age range of fans goes from 14 to pensioners,” he told the Daily Star.

Though fame and fortune are a package deal, as Gaz Beadle knows all too well with some savvy investments under his belt.

“That way if this all ends in two years’ time I’ll know I can kick back and enjoy what I’ve got," he revealed to the Daily Star.

“I’m nearly a ­millionaire. People ­underestimate us but I think we’re proving them wrong.”

While newly-blonde bombshell Vicky Pattison is all about the hot new boys Aaron Chalmers and Kyle Christie, who came as a welcome site for the upcoming series.

"The beauty of Geordie Shore is nothing's contrived," she told Digital Spy.

"It's very clever on behalf of the producers and MTV who make it, because they look at the past series and see what it's lacking... and this series we were in desperate need of some new c**k. So they gave us new c**k.

"Because of that, storylines just flowed. Things just happened. And it doesn't take a genius to work out what sort of things just flowed - what sort of fluids flowed! All fluids were flowing everywhere."
