But Marnie Simpson, 24, recently came out as bisexual - and she admits she's been 'shocked' by the positive reaction.
Speaking exclusively to MTV in the video above, the Newcastle lass told us that she was expecting to receive harsh criticism for coming out as bi.
She explains: "Since I came out as bisexual I haven't had that much bad press or bad comments on social media, everyone's been really supportive and really nice.
"I'm quite shocked by it because I thought it was going to be a lot worse."
But our Marns has yet to settle down with a Geordie lass and admits she doesn't exactly know what she's looking for in a relationship with a woman because she hasn't been in one yet.
She says: "When I've dated boys I've learnt a lot about them and I've learnt what I like and what I don't like, and what to look out for in the next potential partner.
"Obviously I've never dated a girl yet so I wouldn't even know what I was looking for. That's still quite a grey area if I'm honest."
So what does coming out as bisexual mean for her relationship with co-star Aaron Chalmers? Well it sounds to us like the Newcastle lad isn't making as much effort with her as he should be!
She explains: "Me and Aaron have tried so many times. I feel like I go into Geordie Shore and I get with him and we're really good and then I come out and I hope for something to happen, and nothing really happens, and I feel like that is mostly him.
"I feel like I'm there waiting for it to happen with Aaron and he just doesn't try, so I think I've given up on Aaron a little bit. We're close friends and I've got a lot of time for him as a friend, but I just don't think it's meant to be anything more."
Ah, what?! We blimmin' love these two! #MAARON
Marnie also opened up about feeling insecure with her appearance at times, and admits that posting sexy selfies on Instagram helps her feel more body confident.
She says: "If I was to take a selfie and get a really good one, it makes us feel more confident so then I'll post it to Instagram.
"Then if I'm ever feeling insecure, I'll look at it and be like 'that's a good selfie, be proud of yourself, don't feel insecure'. Us girls always feel insecure, especially in this industry, so that's why I do it."
