Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson Opens Up About Coming Out As Bisexual In The House - EXCLUSIVE
Brand new Geordie Shore: The Party Tour continues Tuesday at 10pm - only on MTV!
Why-aye! Geordie Shore is officially BACK in our lives, and what a belta their first party tour adventures were, eh?
Amongst all of the proper mortal antics and everyone going akka in Magaluf, Marnie Simpson took the opportunity to come out as bisexual to her fellow Geordie lasses whilst they were getting ready for their first big night out, with everyone being super supportive as Marnie opened up about her sexuality.
Talking exclusively to MTV after she came out, Marnie, who says that she's known she's bisexual for around three-four years, revealed that it was a 'big deal' for her, and that she's still anxious about coming out to Aaron Chalmers.
She told the Confession Cam: "I'm still a little bit nervous about telling Aaron, I don't want it to affect how he treats us or how he feels about us, that's why I'm a bit nervous about telling him. I don't know when I'm going to, just have to see what happens. This is a big deal for me and I'm so pleased that all the girls have accepted it and took it really well.
"I just feel like coming out about my sexuality has taken a weight off me shoulders. I just feel like I can truly be myself and I don't have to hide and pretend and I can just be honest and that's what it's all about. You've just gotta be honest and be happy within yourself."
Admitting she hopes this won't change anything in the house, Marnie added: "I've never had a relationship with a girl, I've still got me eyes on Aaron and that's how it's gonna be. I just hope the girls aren't different with us, I definitely don't like any of the girls in that, they're not my type!
"Aaron's never really took me and Chloe kissing very well, so when he finds out that I am actually bisexual, I don't think he'll be very happy about it. I am nervous about how he's gonna react. I just hope it doesn't change how he feels about me because I'm still the same person. Being bisexual doesn't change me as a girl, I am a bit anxious but I hope it all goes down well."
Love ya, Marns!
