Geordie Shore's Scotty T Admits He Needs To Choose Between The Show And Settling Down With The 'Love Of His Life' Francesca Toole - EXCLUSIVE
PLUS he reveals why he went 'berserk' when Francesca auditioned for Geordie Shore… #eek
He might not be one of the founding cast members of Geordie Shore but let's be honest, we all consider Scotty T to be one of the show's original members.
So we were pretty shocked when the Newcastle lad, 28, revealed to us that he needs to choose between the show that made him a household name or the 'love of his life' Francesca Toole. OMG!
Speaking exclusively to MTV to promote his upcoming autobiography A Shore Thing, the Buck Squad founder admitted he needed to make a decision asap because he finds it impossible to juggle his relationship with Geordie Shore.
He explains: "Being on Geordie Shore is mint. I travel around the country. I work in clubs. I get to get with loads of girls all the time.
"Now and then, you will meet someone who you fall in love with but the relationships don't work because number one you're always away and you want to spend every day with them but you can't.
"Number two, the heartache for them is hard because they've got to go through watching you on the TV show and if they want to be in the TV show, it normally gets messed up.
"So now and then you'll meet someone, she doesn't want to be on TV, she's out of the spotlight and you fall in love with her, which I have done (with Francesca).
"But it's hard trying to keep that life on the outside (of the show) without everyone getting involved. But I do have a love of my life, I have met her. I am seeing her, she's not in the shadows. It's like I do my job in Geordie Shore and when I'm not filming, I'm with her.
"So what you see on telly is me. But I've got to make that decision whether to take it to the next level or not, because if I do it means not being Scotty T on Geordie Shore anymore and I can't not be myself anymore."
Howay man, it sounds like Scott - and his chopper - have got themselves in quite the predicament! So how did Scott meet this elusive Francesca, anyway?! On a night out, of course...
He says: "I met Francesca in Newcastle, on a night out. Shock! About a year and a half ago. We clicked dead well, she's friendly, she gets on well with all my mates, she's even met my mum and my grandma!
"She's such a down-to-earth grounded girl who's full of energy. I get along so well with her. I can go out with her and my mates. I can go out clubbing with her.
"Obviously then when I go away filming (Geordie Shore) it's hard because we're becoming more and more attached. It's getting harder and harder but I hope it lasts because I do love her to bits."
Aww, we never thought we'd hear Scott talking about the L word - and actually MISSING someone. It sounds like a completely different lad to the one we know on Geordie Shore! So surely the easiest thing to do is have his bird on the show, right? Then he doesn't have to say bye to her all the time, right? WRONG…
Scott told us that he went 'berserk' when he found out his girlfriend auditioned for the show. Eeek!
He reveals: "As a matter of fact, Francesca's been approached loads by Geordie (producers), getting asked to join it, she actually went along with one of her friends for a cast interview. I went berserk. I was like 'don't you dare try and get her on the show'! I know what they're going to try and do.
"But then again if she wants to come on the show, that would automatically make me not feel the same way about her as I know her as Francesca, the girl who's not interested in that sort of thing. For her to go on the show, it would be like a different person, it wouldn't be her. I'd just lose interest."
Hmm, fair enough lad. So what's it going to be, getting wifed up or getting mortal on the show that made him famous? Well, it sounds like Scott still hasn't made his mind up yet, but the pair of them need to have The Talk asap…
He responds: "To be honest my mind's all over the place at the moment as I actually don't know (what to choose). I am settled at the minute. Everything's going well, I've got a lot of work, I'm happy, I'm having fun, I'm going on holiday with her.
"When filming comes around we're just going to have that conversation because it's going to happen sooner or later."
Eek, good luck with that one lad...
Scott's debut autobiography A Shore Thing is released Thursday, 20th October. Geordie Shore series 13 returns Tuesday, 25th October at 10pm - only on MTV!
