Geordie Shore’s Sophie Kasaei Admits She’s Gone Through Some Major Life Changes: “I’m Single Now” - Exclusive

Series 17 of Geordie Shore starts Tuesday 15th May at 10pm only on MTV!

We’re over the actual moon that our family of Geordies are back for Geordie Shore series 17 but we’re also a little thrown off because a hella lot has changed since the last time we saw these radgies.

Marnie Simpson and Aaron Chalmers are sitting this one out, Holly Hagan is back and Chloe Ferry and Sam Gowland are still going strong.

But the biggest change of all? Sophie Kasaei is a single pringle pet.

After breaking up with her ex-boyfriend Joel Corry, Sophie is sans man for the first time ever in the history of the Geordie Shore house.

She exclusively told MTV: "There is a big change that has happened to me since last series and that’s obviously I’m single now. That’s probably one of the biggest ones yet. A lot has happened since the last time you saw me in series 16."

But that’s not all that’s changed in Sophie’s life as she has gone through a physical transformation as well as an emotional one.

She reveals: “Since last season there has been a few big changes in my life. I think physically I have changed – I lost a lot of weight. I lost, like, two and a half stone. Which was a really big challenge for me being in Geordie Shore and having to get fit and healthy.”

But enough of this emosh chat, the family have headed Down Under and we need to know exactly how Sophie feels about it.

One thing she definitely isn’t sure on are her beloved kebabs as she admits: “Something that’s really bad are the kebab. What is wrong with the Australian kebabs? They are horrendous. You wake up with kebab breath and you’ve got kebabbreath for a week.”

And it turns out there is something even scarier than being single again after six years of dating.

She says: “The scariest thing I’ve seen is I’m lying in the bed and I’m like, ‘Can I hear something? Is that my ears? What the f*ck is that buzzing noise?’ and there was the biggest, I don’t even know what it was – a grasshopper, a moth, f*ck knows, a butterfly, a dragon, who knows? But it was that big and it was staring at us in the face and it was buzzing. It was scary.”
