Marnie Simpson Reveals Getting Engaged Has Been Her Best Memory Of 2015
We reckon Marnie Simpson has got to be a glass half full kind of person, judging by the choice of her favourite moment from2015.
Desipte going through a painful and public split from her ex-fiancé Ricky Rayment this year, the Geordie Shore stunner hasstill picked their engagement as her most treasured memory of the last 12 months.
Speaking to New magazine for this week's issue, she said: "That was the best. That was a good one."
However she was quick to squash rumours that she cheated on Ricky with Geordie lad Aaron Chalmers.
She defended herself saying:"I didn't cheat on him! We didn't cheat. Me and Ricky officially split two weeks before anything came out."
"We'd finished, we were still talking and thinking about maybe giving it another go," she added.
"I wasn't with Ricky. I'm going to clear it up as we weren't together."
And it sound like Marnie isn't going to be quick to jump into another relationship in 2016, saying that her New Year's Resolution is to stay single.
For the WHOLE YEAR?
"For a long time! I'd like to stay single and focus on myself for a year."
In terms of what she's learned about her love life over the past year, she added: "A lot about getting too serioues with people."
And vowing that she intends to keep her romantic life more casual for now, she's left us guessing as to who it might involve next.
However whenasked who she'd kiss under the mistletoe, Marnie admitted that it WOULD be Geordie Shore lad after all.
"I don't know... I've just had a really good time with Aaron, so him."

She and co-star Chloe Ferry also had a chat about cosmetic procedures - and Marnie revealed what's next on her to do listfollowing her recent boob lift.
"I'd like a bum lift too," she said. "And maybe injections to make it a bit bigger."
Or maybe she should just put Charlotte Crosby's 3 Minute Bum Blitz DVD on her Christmas list?
Speaking of whom, Marnie was deliberately coy when asked if Char and Gaz had been getting it on lately.
"Mayyyybeee!" she answered. "You'll just have to wait and see."
