When celeb relationships hit the buffers, there's often thepossibility that they could work things out and get back together again.

But in case you're wondering, Marnie Simpson and Ricky Rayment are NOT one of those cases - as she's just spelled out in a new interview with Star magazine.

Putting her heart on her sleeve, Geordie Shore star Marnie revealed that she's been deeply wounded by the Essex boy and has totally closed the door on their relationship.

She told the mag: "He said some awful things and I hated it when he called us a slag, but I don't want to talk about that."

Confirming that they have broken off contact, she continued: "I messaged him saying I'll post the ring and he can post me my stuff. That's it."

"I'll miss the ring but I'm sure one day someone will give us one that's even better!"

Asked about Ricky accusingher of airing their dirty laundry in public, the Geordie lass said:"From day one all he's done is broadcast our relationship."

"That's how everyone knew about it! If that was aimed at me it's hypocritical."

On Ricky's on-screen proposal - coming up in this series of Geordie Shore -she commented: "It was a foolish decision on his behalf - I don't think you should propose unless you're 100 per cent sure and he obviously wasn't because we're not together now."

"We should have waited. Doing it on screen was a lot of pressure and I was backed into a corner. But at the time I loved him and wanted to be with him forever."

Marnie also suggested that Ricky wanted her to quit the hit MTV show.

"It's such an amazing job, no one would ever want to lose it - but he would hint that it was either him or the show," she explained.

And she said she wasn't her normal self when filming the latest series.

"Because I was in a relationship I couldn't get involved as much," she confessed.

"I was constantly watching myself when I was drinking because I was scared of what I might do."

"I've always been the drama queen but this time I took a step back."
