Scotty T Hits Back At Sexist Allegations With Statement After Jodie Marsh Compared Him To Donald Trump
Scotty T hits back at Jodie Marsh.
At the time, she said people had "woken up" to the realisation that it's "not cool to have sex on TV."
Many of the Geordie cast members, including Scotty T, sprung into action to defend the show - pointing out that Jodie herself had built a career from reality TV, and was in no position to criticise.
But, in an interview with Star Magazine, Jodie then hit out at Scotty and Aaron directly, saying she's "worried" by the way they speak about women: "It’s derogatory. Donald Trump is bad but these boys are worse."
“They make it seem like it’s OK to verbally abuse women and suggest they are only good for sex.”
Well, Scotty T wasn't having ANY of that, and issued a powerful statement via his Twitter page to hit back at the "desperate, bitter" accusations.
Pointing out that he's "an advocate of all sexes and races" and a "champion for sexual diversity", Scotty said he owes his career to powerful women.
He then added that Jodie's comments are an attempt to reignite "a dwindling career" before it reaches "the bitter end."
No word from Jodie yet, but that might be enough to silence anyone.
